Every hardware product includes a 90-day KahnServers return-to-base (RTB) hardware warranty from delivery. Servers can be upgraded to 12, 24 or 36 months total cover from delivery. An upgrade replaces the 90-day period; it does not add 90 days to the selected term.
Server cover includes the hardware and components supplied by KahnServers as part of that build, including CPUs, RAM, HDDs, SSDs, RAID/HBA controllers, network cards, GPUs, power supplies, fans and system boards. Separately purchased components retain their own 90-day return-to-base (RTB) warranty unless expressly included in a covered build.
Both the included warranty and paid server upgrades provide KahnServers return-to-base (RTB) repair or replacement warranty for hardware faults in normal use. It is not an on-site service or a guaranteed response-time agreement. Replacements may be equivalent refurbished hardware. If repair or replacement is not possible, contact us to agree an appropriate remedy without limiting your statutory rights.
Accidental damage, misuse, external electrical damage, software problems, data recovery, normal wear and faults caused by incompatible or unauthorised modifications are excluded. An unrelated modification does not automatically void cover for an unrelated fault. Back up your data before sending equipment for service.
Email info@kahnservers.co.uk with your order number, serial number and fault description before returning equipment. We will explain diagnostics and return arrangements. We cover reasonable return and redelivery costs for a confirmed covered hardware fault; agree the shipping method with us first. No paid cover is required to exercise your statutory rights.
Purchase one optional upgrade per server with the original server order. Pricing uses the hardware value of that server and its supplied components, including applicable VAT and excluding shipping and warranty fees. The price band and total fee are shown before purchase. A configurator warranty selection is included in the quote for the final build.
The warranty provider is Baz Distribution Ltd, trading as KahnServers, Unit 9 Gemini Business Park, Leeds, LS7 3JB, UK. Your order records the selected term; keep your confirmation and serial number. This warranty is additional to statutory rights, which may continue after it expires.
If you cancel or return the entire server order under the applicable returns policy, the associated unused warranty upgrade is refunded too. For a warranty cancellation request, email us with your order number; applicable statutory cancellation rights remain unaffected.
Check the written specification and included-items list. CTO and barebones systems are base platforms unless components are expressly included. Caddies, rails, bezels, cables, licences, CPUs, RAM and drives should not be assumed included.
