Find replacement server power supplies by wattage, efficiency rating, power-supply format and compatible model where specified.

A matching wattage alone does not guarantee compatibility. Check the exact part number, connector, input voltage and chassis support; redundant installations generally require matching modules.

Identify the complete power-supply specification

Use the full label on the existing PSU and the server's supported-parts documentation. Check input requirements, connector and physical format as well as rated output. Confirm the required power cord and site supply separately; a PSU's headline wattage does not describe every installation requirement.

If replacing one module in a redundant configuration, check the platform's rules for pairing supplies and the remaining unit's specification. Prepare for a replacement or spare-parts order

Read the hot-swap power supply guide alongside the manufacturer's replacement procedure. For several spares, use wholesale server components with the exact part numbers, server models, input specification and quantities required.
