Match the GPU to the application and chassis

Identify the software you intend to run and check its supported GPU models, drivers and memory requirements. Graphics output, compute acceleration and virtualised GPU use can require different features or licences. A card's memory capacity alone does not establish support for the intended application.

Check card dimensions, occupied slots, riser position and auxiliary power connections in the target system. Confirm the supported power supply configuration and server cooling hardware. A passively cooled server card needs the airflow arrangement specified for that card and chassis.
